LOS ANGELES — 99 Cents Only Stores here is inviting brides and grooms to get married at one of its stores here on Sept. 9 (9/9/09) for a cost of just 99 cents.
An ordained minister will officiate at the ceremony, and all wedding decor will be created from items carried at the store, the company said. 99 Cents Only Stores is billing 9/9/09 as “the luckiest day of the century at the luckiest store for bargain lovers.”
Prospective couples have until Aug. 24 to sign up for the ceremonies, the company said.
