HAMMONTON, N.J. — Workers at Acme Supermarkets are scheduled to vote on a new contract next Wednesday after an agreement was reached with United Food and Commercial Workers Local 152.

The contract, which covers workers at about 100 Supervalu-owned Acme stores in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, includes pay raises and a 36% increase in contribution to the pension fund over the four years of the pact, according local reports.

Press of Atlantic City also said workers will continue to receive fully funded health insurance with no co-pay. The previous contract expired in May. Negotiations between UFCW Local 152 and Super Fresh, a division of A&P, are continuing.
