BOISE, Idaho — Albertsons LLC here said it will collect donations for disaster relief efforts in the Midwest and Southeast through its in-store Food for All program.
The company also said it will make an immediate contribution of $10,000 to the Salvation Army to help provide relief from the series of spring storms and floods that have affected those areas.
The in-store campaign, which is set to kick off today, will run through June 30. It will enable shoppers to make donations of $1, $3 or $5 by using Food for All coupons at checkstands at its stores in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico and Texas.
