BATAVIA, Ill. — Aldi expects to open its 10 locations in Florida this week as part of the discounter’s first foray to the Sunshine State. Stores in Sanford, Winter Park, Orlando, St. Cloud, Lakeland, Brandon, Tampa, Pinellas Park, Clearwater and Dayton Beach are set to open Thursday, with preopening events set for the Sanford and Pinellas Park locations, Aldi said. Another 10 new Aldi stores are scheduled to open in October and five more in November.
