MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P here said Tuesday that it has completed the sale of seven Super Foodmart stores in Connecticut to Springfield, Mass.-based Big Y Foods.
Proceeds of the sale totaled $24.6 million including inventory, A&P said. Big Y Foods previously said it would reopen four of the stores under its Big Y banner and was considering a discount format for a fifth.
