A&P Taps Sarnie for Risk Management

MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P has hired Richard Sarnie as vice president of risk management, according to his previous employer.

Edison, N.J.-based ALS Group, an independent insurance and risk management and advisory firm, said that Sarnie had joined A&P effective Nov. 29. Sarnie had been senior vice president and chief operating officer at ALS.

"An opportunity such as this is once in a lifetime for a risk manager," said Sarnie in a prepared statement from ALS.

A&P was not immediately available for comment.
