Arrest Announced in Theft of Pallets in Houston

Intelligent Global Pooling Systems (iGPS), Orlando, Fla., announced yesterday that following its ongoing collaboration with law enforcement officials and retailers in the region, the Houston Police Department's Major Offenders Task Force conducted a raid on PA Pallets on March 26.

HOUSTON — Intelligent Global Pooling Systems (iGPS), Orlando, Fla., announced yesterday that following its ongoing collaboration with law enforcement officials here and retailers in the region, the Houston Police Department's Major Offenders Task Force conducted a raid on PA Pallets on March 26.

During this raid, iGPS said, the owner of PA Pallets was arrested for grand theft, and receiving, selling and possession of stolen property from a number of parties, including fast-moving consumer goods retailing customers of iGPS.

“We will continue our close collaboration with law enforcement officials and retailers because we simply will not tolerate theft of our pallets,” said Ben Stoller, iGPS vice president, in a statement. His firm provides plastic pallets containing four RFID tags for tracking and tracing.
