KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Associated Wholesale Grocers here has agreed to subscribe to DemandTec's Deal Management software service on the DemandTec TradePoint Network.
AWG selected the service in order to help automate vendor deal management, enhance supplier relationships, and improve service levels to its retail customers, according to DemandTec, San Mateo, Calif.
The TradePoint Network is an Internet-based network allowing retailers and consumer products manufacturer trading partners to interact and collaborate on promotions and other merchandising and marketing activities.
DemandTec is also known for price and promotion optimization software.
