Bashas' Secured Creditors Seek Delay

PHOENIX — The secured creditors of Bashas' have asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court here to rule Wednesday on their request to delay implementation of the chain's reorganization plan pending a formal appeal, according to local reports.

PHOENIX — The secured creditors of Bashas' have asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court here to rule Wednesday on their request to delay implementation of the chain's reorganization plan pending a formal appeal, according to local reports.

Representatives of the chain could not be reached for comment.

The reorganization plan, which would free Bashas' from Chapter 11 and which is set to go into effect Saturday, would pay off all creditors in full within three years.
