GREENVILLE, S.C. — Bi-Lo is increasing its Web following with its first ever pet look-alike contest open to customers in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.
Participants need to take a photo with their pet and submit it via Bi-Lo’s Facebook page to be entered for a chance to win the grand prize — a year’s worth of free pet food valued at $1,000. But to access the pet contest application, participants must first “like” Bi-Lo’s SuperSaver page on Facebook. Voting for the competition is open to the public and will take place online June 8-21.
“We love our four-legged friends and we know our customers do, too,” said Darren Johnson, pet products category manager for Bi-Lo, in a statement. “We’re excited to offer shoppers savings without sacrifice every time they shop with us, along with fun contests like this one throughout the year.”
