MAULDIN, S.C. — Bi-Lo here on Thursday said it has named Bill Nasshan senior vice president of merchandising and marketing and promoted Anthea Jones to senior vice president of store operations, effective immediately.
Nasshan succeeds Larry Stablein, who served the same role on an interim basis since late last year. Stablein will remain with Bi-Lo in a consulting capacity, the company said. Nasshan previously w as senior vice president of marketing and merchandising at Shaw’s Supermarkets, and has also served in executive roles for Borders Books and Dominick’s, where he began his career in the grocery industry.
Jones most recently was Bi-Lo’s group vice president, Center Store. He has more than 25 years of experience in the grocery industry, and began his grocery retail career at Food Lion, where he was director of store operations. Jones will be responsible for operations and Bi-Lo Charities.
