ANDOVER, Minn. — Bill's Superette, an eight-store grocery/fuel chain in the Twin Cities, announced the launch of a store management system from LOC Software, which provides applications for independent retailers.

The new system, called the Store Management Suite, was fully rolled out with the support of reseller North Country Business Products in the spring of this year. It is helping the retailer improve the management of all store level and headquarters level activities, including point-of-sale transactions, POS/keyboard maintenance, bank integration, mobile POS, pay-at-the-pump, digital signage, labor scheduling, in-store promotions, price book maintenance and loyalty program.

Unlike its previous POS system, the new system allows Bill's Superette to offer store-level sales promotions, hand-held price verification, and a loyalty program.

"The system is doing what we were told it could do," said Grant Rademacher, operations manager at Bill's Superette, in a statement. "The implementation was nearly flawless and we continue to find new and useful functionality in the system."

Bill's Superette is planning to add replenishment functionality to the system as well as purchase order capabilities for select vendors.
