TYLER, Texas — Brookshire Grocery Co. is offering an incentive for shoppers to buy its private-brand canned vegetables. All shoppers who purchase 10 or more Food Club canned vegetables (4- to 31-ounce varieties) with their loyalty cards are automatically entered for a chance to win a $100 Brookshire's gift card. The promo runs through Feb. 1.
In other store-brand news, the retailer is recognizing Lue Ann Robles, of Hillsboro, Texas. Robles won a car in a Brookshire promo that ran last Sept and Oct. For every Food Club item purchased using their loyalty card, customers earned a chance to win a Camaro. Five randomly-chosen finalists won a NASCAR weekend package, including tickets and pit passes to the O'Reilly Auto Parts and AAA Texas 500 races, a one-night stay at the Gaylord Texan, a $250 Brookshire's gift card, and a $200 Visa check card.
On November 7, at Texas Motor Speedway during the AAA Texas 500, all five drew a key in the hopes of turning on the ignition to the car. Robles picked the winning key. Robles recently drove the car to Brookshire's at 120 S. Waco Dr. in Hillsboro.
