BIRMINGHAM, Ala. â€” The labor union representing employees at Brunoâ€™s Supermarkets here is preparing to meet next week with prospective buyers for the stores, which are operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Brunoâ€™s and United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1657 this week agreed to postpone a hearing on the retailerâ€™s motion to decertify the union, rescheduling it for April 2.
