MINNEAPOLIS — Lund Food Holdings here, parent company of Lunds and Byerly’s, will host a Western-themed family fun day consisting of free food and games on Saturday, July 25, at its St. Louis Park Byerly’s store.
The “Western Roundup” event will include horseshoe tossing, cow milking and other events. Free hamburgers, chips and Coca-Cola beverages will be served, and the movie “City Slickers” will be presented outside for free at sundown.
Bachman’s and Coca-Cola are among the sponsors.
In other news, the retailer is promoting its private-label kettle chips, which now come in new flavors like Kentucky Southern Barbecue, with an online coupon for a free 8-ounce bag with the purchase of $10 in stores. The chips are on sale this week at two 8-ounce bags for $4.
