ANKENY, Iowa — Shareholders of Casey’s General Stores on Thursday voted to elect the company’s incumbent directors, with the slate sponsored by hostile suitor Alimentation Couche-Tard garnering less than 10% of the vote. The results could deal a fatal blow to Couche-Tard’s pursuit of Casey’s. The Casey’s board has repeatedly rejected Couche-Tard’s offers to buy the company, including its latest bid of around $2 billion.
