Central Market Highlights Herbs

SAN ANTONIO — H.E. Butt Grocery Co.’s Central Market banner will host an “herb fest” April 4-6. One of Central Market’s newest events, the herb fest will showcase fresh and dried herbs in recipes and even floral bouquets. “Each store will have special events this weekend, along with our usual demos and samplings,” Central Market states. On April 5 at Central Market’s Plano store, Texas horticulturalist Neil Sperry will talk about new flavors, scents and textures of herbs. He will also conduct a free demonstration on how to plant and grow herbs.
