Chain Promotes Breast Cancer Awareness

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Price Chopper Supermarkets has kicked off its fifth-annual private-label promotion aimed at fighting breast cancer.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Price Chopper Supermarkets has kicked off its fifth-annual private-label promotion aimed at fighting breast cancer.

With each purchase of dozens of specially marked Price Chopper-brand products this month, Price Chopper will donate 5 cents to various breast cancer initiatives, up to $250,000. Participating products include canned vegetables and soup, ginger ale, peanut butter and aluminum foil.

The promotion is running in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The retailer introduced the promotion with a store coupon for a $1 off any five Price Chopper-brand Breast Cancer awareness products.
