CHANDLER, Ariz. — Bashas' here said Cigna Medical Group has opened a clinic inside one of its Food City stores in Phoenix, with the possibility of additional in-store clinics in the future.
"Cigna wants to spend a few months evaluating the program — to see what traffic is like, for example — to determine if it wants to go forward with us," a Bashas' spokesman told SN.
The clinic, which employs a nurse practitioner and a medical assistant, charges $59 for a medical visit and $10 for common lab services.
Bashas' formerly had three clinics from another provider at two Bashas' stores and the Food City in Phoenix, which closed when the provider went out of business in 2009.
