DENVER — Albertsons workers in Denver voted to ratify a 52-month contract with the employer, United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 here said Monday.
The new deal includes a signing bonus, wage increases, improved health care insurance and a design to stabilize the pension plan, union sources said. It also includes a guaranteed severance payment. Albertsons has closed five Colorado stores last fall.
Albertsons workers had been without a contract since May.
