Colorado Workers Extend Talks Again

King Soopers and Safeway have agreed to extend talks with their union workers through Aug. 15, according to United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7.

DENVER — King Soopers and Safeway have agreed to extend talks with their union workers through Aug. 15, according to United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 here.

The union has been negotiating separately with the chains to replace a contract that expired in May. The union added it was still waiting to schedule additional talks with Albertsons.
