BATON ROUGE, La. — The Brand Coupon Network, a provider of online print-controlled “couponology” for the supermarket industry, has entered into a corporate partnership with the Children’s Miracle Network. The new promotion, called Coupons for Miracles, converts coupons into cash for the Children’s Miracle Network. Consumers go to the Coupons for Miracles portal, print out desired coupons and then redeem them at their local stores. The coupons are then cleared and identified by clearinghouses. A percentage of each coupon redeemed goes to Children’s Miracle Network. “Brands and retailers are looking for cause loyalty solutions,” said Dan Abraham, founder of BCN. “Our online solution helps emotionally engage their target demographic to drive traffic and sales while it helps a fantastic American Institution — Children’s Miracle Network.” Historically, nonprofit organizations suffer in times of economic crisis, according to Abraham. Donations become more difficult for families as their cost of living drastically rises. “The beauty of Coupons for Miracles is that we are helping our supporters save money on their groceries, while they champion our cause,” said Bill Shadrach, Children’s Miracle Network’s marketing vice president.
