MINNEAPOLIS — Actor Dan Aykroyd will make an exclusive appearance at the Byerly’s St. Louis Park Wines & Spirits Shop from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 20, to sign bottles of his new Crystal Head Vodka.
Crystal Head Vodka will be available exclusively at all seven of the retailer’s Wines & Spirits Shops from Wednesday, March 18, through Monday, March 23. The idea of the vodka came from Aykroyd’s ghosts, spirits and extraterrestrial life. Aykroyd starred in the 1989 movie “Ghostbusters.”
Made with water from a deep aquifer in Newfoundland, Crystal Head Vodka is quadruple distilled and triple filtered through polished crystals known as Herkimer diamonds. The vodka is then placed in a bottle sculpted into a glass rendering of a human skull. The bottle is produced by Bruni Glass in Milano, Italy.
