GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. — Dollar General has added Arkansas to the list of states were it sells beer. Permits for 50 of the discount chain’s 265 stores in the state were obtained from the Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control Division last week, but requests for 14 were denied after protests from local residents and officials.
