DAYTON, Ohio — Dorothy Lane Market will host its first gluten-free sampling and educational showcase in its Washington Square store next weekend.
The free Oct. 22 event, spearheaded by the DLM Gluten-Free Food Lovers’ Club, will include a vendor showcase of businesses who offer gluten-free products. Local vendors will include Sinfully Gluten Free in Centerville, Ohio, and Tina’s Sweet Treats, Franklin, Ohio.
DLM will also sample its own gluten-free items, including Chocolate Walnut Chews from the bakery department, DLM Classic Chili, and DLM Dips with DLM Organic Multigrain Tortilla Chips.
“And you can’t leave without trying our store-made, gluten-free meatballs and DLM Original Marinara Sauce,” Dorothy Lane stated in promotional materials.
Company representatives from the retailer’s supplement, natural food, and body care lines will be on hand to provide samples and product information.
Additionally, seminars on how to live a gluten-free diet will be held in the retailer’s cooking school.
