Phoenix, Ariz. — Sprouts Farmers Market here has appointed Rick Kaiser as senior vice president of operations and Joe Dobrow as vice president of marketing. Kaiser, who has spent 32 years in retail, most recently was senior vice president of operations at Raley’s Supermarket.
Dobrow, who brings 25 years of experience to his new position, has led marketing efforts at Whole Foods Market and Balducci’s. His expertise is in brand-building and integrated marketing.
Sprouts plans to open 11 new stores this year and to hire more than 500 employees to staff them.
