LAKELAND, Fla. — Jane B. Finley, a professor of accounting at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., has been named to the board of directors of Publix Super Markets, the retailer said.
“Dr. Finley has an impressive background in finance and information technology that will complement our current board of directors,” Maria Brous, a spokeswoman for Publix, said in a statement. “She also adds another geographic area of our company to the Board as a Nashville, Tenn., resident.”
