Food Lion Challenges Schools to Compete for Merchandise

Food Lion has put a unique spin on Campbell’s Labels for Education program by pitting school against school and awarding a grand prize of 1 million points to the winner.

SALISBURY, N.C. — Food Lion has put a unique spin on Campbell’s Labels for Education program by pitting school against school and awarding a grand prize of 1 million points to the winner.

“Food Lion School vs. School” accounts can be set up by anyone who enters their loyalty card number, school of choice and other information at www.foodlion.com/LFEchallenge. All contestants get 100 Labels for Education points just for registering. They can check back monthly to find out how to earn up to 50 bonus points each month through April 2010

All contestants must save the UPC codes from participating Campbell’s products and send them in to get credit.

The school that earns the most Labels for Education points through April 30, 2010 will get a grand prize of 1 million points.

The winner can then exchange points for educational merchandise in the Labels for Education catalog.
