SALISBURY, N.C. — The first former Bloom store in the Charlotte, N.C. area reopened Wednesday under the Food Lion banner, and eight additional stores are scheduled to reopen next week, according to a report in the Charlotte Observer. Earlier this month, six former Bloom stores in South Carolina reopened as Food Lions. Food Lion, a division of Delhaize, said earlier this year it would shut down the Bloom banner in the Carolinas.
