SALISBURY, N.C. — Food Lion is promoting its new iPhone app with an iPod Touch giveaway.
Under its “Holiday Wrap Up Sweepstakes,” Food Lion will award seven prize packages — each with one 8 GB iPod Touch, a $10 iTunes gift card and a $40 Food Lion gift card.
Shoppers can enter by filling out an online form. They receive a second entry if they download the Food Lion iPhone app, available for free via a link on the Food Lion website.
The app lets users view weekly specials and coupons, view alerts about new products and special events, manage their shopping lists and more.
“Download the app and you’ll be one click away from instant savings, faster shopping and a more satisfying store experience,” Food Lion states in promotional materials.
The sweepstakes runs through Dec. 27
