SAN JOSE, Calif. — Robert J. Dunst, a former chief information officer at Albertsons, was named to the board of directors of Altierre Corp., a provider of retail pricing technologies based here, Altierre said. At Albertsons, Dunst, who was also executive vice president of supply chain and technology, oversaw supply chain management, procurement, distribution, warehousing and logistics. Supervalu, Minneapolis, said in 2006 that he would leave Albertsons following its acquisition by Supervalu. He formerly served as a vice president of advanced technology and the Internet business group at Safeway. Altierre is a provider of wireless pricing systems.
