FORT MYERS, Fla. — Pamela Knous, the former chief financial officer for Supervalu, Minneapolis, was named CFO and executive vice president of apparel retailer Chico's FAS here, effective Thursday.

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Pamela Knous, the former chief financial officer for Supervalu, Minneapolis, was named CFO and executive vice president of apparel retailer Chico's FAS here, effective Thursday.
Knous, who succeeds Kent A. Kleeberger, served as Supervalu's CFO from 1997 until resigning last July. She has 20 years of experience in retail finance, including serving as CFO of Safeway's Von's division.
As previously reported, Knous was succeeded at Supervalu last December by Sherry Smith, executive vice president and CFO.
