SCARBOROUGH, Maine — Hannaford Supermarkets is sponsoring a seasonally themed Foursquare deal in a handful of stores according to promotional messages sent via Facebook and Twitter.
Shoppers who check in on their phone after physically entering a participating store Tuesday will earn a free pumpkin while supplies last. The one per household offer can only be redeemed at the service desk, according to Hannaford. Store associates are not eligible.
