EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market here has launched Gourmet, a new line of upscale fresh prepared and frozen meals.
Created by Fresh & Easy’s team of chefs, the new line includes $2.99 desserts, $3.99 soups, and fresh and frozen meals ranging from $5.99 to $6.99.
“We’ve heard continually from our customers that they love our Fresh & Easy meals, so we set out to create a truly gourmet line of affordable meals to give our customers even more options,” said John Burry, Fresh & Easy’s chief commercial officer.
The initial launch includes 17 different items, such as crab and sweet potato bisque, braised lamb shank, portabella Pappardelle, an apricot pork tenderloin, lemon tartlets and dark chocolate raspberry gelato truffles.
