EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market here said yesterday it has selected 10 more sites in the Las Vegas area for additional stores. It was the first announcement of new store locations since the company said late last month it would take a three-month hiatus, through July, after opening 61 stores in its first five months of operation. Fresh & Easy already has 11 Las Vegas stores and had previously disclosed sites for 14 additional units prior to yesterday’s announcement. It said some of the 25 Las Vegas area locations in development will begin opening later this year. The company said it is continuing to look for additional sites for stores throughout California, Nevada and Arizona. Fresh & Easy is the U.S. division of United Kingdom-based Tesco.
