EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market here said Thursday it will open its first five stores in Sacramento, Calif., next month.
Two units will open on March 7 — one in the city of Sacramento, the other in an unincorporated area of the city; and three others— in Lincoln, Elk Grove and Folsom — will open a week later, on March 14.
Fresh & Easy, the U.S. division of Britain-based Tesco, opened its first stores in Northern California — in the San Francisco Bay area — last year. It operates more than 180 stores in California, Arizona and Nevada.
