NEW YORK — Web-based grocer FreshDirect, snowed in for two days this week, donated about 72,000 pounds of food to City Harvest, the food collection agency here said on its Facebook page.
FreshDirect was forced to cancel all Monday deliveries this week after the snowstorm left both its truck and plows buried under two feet of snow.
Limited delivery resumed on Tuesday.
