Giant Eagle Eliminates ATM Charges

PITTSBURGH — Giant Eagle no longer imposes surcharges at its GetGo ATM machines.

“We're excited to offer you surcharge free ATMs!” Giant Eagle announced on its Facebook page. “Now you can withdraw cash at GetGo ATM's without paying surcharge fees.”

GetCo’s surcharge-free withdrawal service is available through Citizens Bank, whether or not the ATM customer has a Citizens account, according to a published report.

While Giant Eagle no longer charges, some customer’s own banks may still charge them for ATM and/or debit card use.
