PITTSBURGH — Giant Eagle took shoppers on a trip to the Far East this past weekend with an in-store sampling event.
Along with cooking demonstrations, the retailer offered specials on Asian food brands, including House of Tsang, Annie Chun’s and Kikkoman.
The retailer also posted online Asian recipes like Mongolian stir-fry and Asian chicken wraps. Each recipe included ingredients from sponsors of the in-store samplings.
The event ran from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
