PITTSBURGH — Giant Eagle will offer drive-through flu shot clinics at 11 Ohio stores beginning this Saturday. “Get your flu shot quickly and conveniently without leaving your car,” stated a full-page ad in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “It’s easy. Park and register and our Giant Eagle pharmacists will administer your vaccine while our staff provides refreshments.” Five clinics are planned for the Cleveland area on Oct. 11, and five more on Nov. 1. According to the retailer’s website, it will use registered nurses to administer the vaccine at two stores in Columbus, one on Oct. 18, and another on Nov. 1.
