PITTSBURGH — Giant Eagle is using YouTube to promote its new Market District private-label pasta.
The retailer has posted a video on its YouTube account showing its executive chef, John Gruver, explaining how to cook the “perfect pasta.”
Giant Eagle sourced the pasta from a specialist in southern Italy who is both the miller of the wheat and the maker of the pasta, “which gives him ultimate control over every step of the process.”
The pasta comes after a new line of Market District pasta sauces recently hit Giant Eagle shelves.
“Our new line of sauces required a pasta worthy of them, so we are proud to introduce our new Market District pasta,” Giant Eagle writes in promotional materials.
