PITTSBURGH – Giant Eagle has introduced “GifterGo,” an online site that lets shoppers buy vouchers for retailers that may not have a formal gift card program.
The site, located at www.gianteagle.com/giftergo, currently offers about 100 vouchers from community merchants that don’t participate in Giant Eagle’s “Gift Card Gallery.” Participating businesses include local restaurants, furniture stores, beauty salons, golf courses and Inns.
For every $50 spent on the site with a Giant Eagle loyalty card, customers will earn “fuelperks,” or discounts on fuel at Giant Eagle GetGo gas stations.
The vouchers can be paid for online and immediately downloaded from the site. They can be customized with graphics and messages.
