PITTSBURGH - Giant Eagle will award one of its Facebook fans a freezer full of its Market District Certified Angus Beef (a $575 value).
Facebook users can enter the “Are you a Certified Lover of Beef?” contest by “liking” Giant Eagle’s Facebook page, entering their name, email and completing a quiz about Angus beef.
Among the questions on the quiz:
• Market District Certified Angus Beef steaks are high in what feature that makes a steak very flavorful and juicy?
• Certified Angus Beef must pass 10 stringent quality specifications to earn the premium certification. What percentage of Angus Beef qualifies as Certified Angus Beef?
The contest is open to residents of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and Ohio. It launched Feb. 9 and runs through March 1. The winner will be chosen at random.
