SAN ANTONIO, Texas — H-E-B Central Market here has launched a new meal promotion called the “Foodie Freebie.” This week, shoppers who purchase a Central Market signature rotisserie chicken will be offered a free French baguette plus a free family-size Caesar salad, made in-house with fresh parmesan cheese and house-baked croutons.
“You save $7.49 — and get a rockin’ meal for less than $8,” the company posted in its eFoodie online newsletter. The post indicated that a new Foodie Freebie deal will be announced each week.
