NEW YORK — BrightFarms LLC, a supplier of hydroponic rooftop gardens for supermarkets, said Christian Haub has joined the company as an advisor. Haub is the former chief executive officer of Montvale, N.J.-based A&P, which filed for bankruptcy protection last year. A&P said he remains chairman of the board of directors at the company, which was partially owned by his family. Haub had previously turned over day-to-day operations at A&P to current CEO Sam Martin.
