WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — A charcoal/gas hybrid grill is the top prize in Hy-Vee’s first Curtis Stone promotion.
All those who upload a photo and recipe of their favorite grilled entree are automatically entered.
The first-prize winner gets a hybrid grill featuring 1,260 square inches of cooking space, an adjustable grate height for temperature control and chrome-plated warming rack.
The first prize-winner will also receive an autographed copy of the “Cooking with Curtis” cookbook. Four runners-up will receive a $25 Hy-Vee gift card. The contest runs through June 30.
As reported, Hy-Vee teamed with the celebrity chef to develop a series of recipes that emphasize fresh, high-quality, seasonal ingredients and ease of preparation. The first of his recipes launched this month.
Stone is the host of "Top Chef Masters" on Bravo and appears as an investor/mentor on NBC’s "America’s Next Great Restaurant." He’s also the author of several books, including "Relaxed Cooking with Curtis Stone," and is a regular guest on NBC’s "Today" and "The Biggest Loser."
