ABINGDON, Va. — K-VA-T Food Stores has launched a mobile text-messaging service to notify shoppers of information on store events, coupons and special promotions.
Users can register for the service online by providing their cell phone number, name, address, email and loyalty card number.
“We’ll send exclusive coupons, discounts, special promotions and money-saving offers directly to your cell phone,” K-VA-T writes in promotional materials.
Up to five messages will be sent each week. Standard text-message rates apply.
