Kaczynski Out as Bigg's President

Steve Kaczynski is leaving Bigg's, the 11-unit supermarket chain, to pursue other interests, the company said.

CINCINNATI — Steve Kaczynski is leaving Bigg's, the 11-unit supermarket chain based here, to pursue other interests, the company said yesterday. He will be succeeded by Jimmy Nichols, vice president of merchandising.

Kaczynski joined Bigg's in 2006 after serving as senior vice president of sales, merchandising and marketing for Wild Oats Markets.

Nichols previously had worked in marketing and category management at Supervalu, Bigg's Minneapolis-based parent company.
