CINCINNATI — Kroger last week marked the Texas debut of its large-format Kroger Marketplace superstore.
The 125,000-square-foot Kroger Marketplace store opened Friday in Richmond, Texas, a Houston suburb, and includes a full grocery store along with extensive general merchandise offerings including furniture, jewelry and small appliances.
Kroger has plans to open additional Marketplace stores in Rosenberg, Texas in December and in Dallas early next year, reports said.
