CINCINNATI — Kroger Co. is promoting its pet insurance by offering a limited-time $10 savings to those who enroll online.
Provided by PetFirst HealthCare, the insurance helps pay for a wide array of veterinarian expenses, including accidents, illnesses, surgery, vaccinations and X-rays. Rates range from $10 to about $80 per month, depending on coverage options, age of pet, and number of pets enrolled per household.
“Pet insurance is a smart way to cover pet illnesses and accidents, and even routine visits,” Kroger states in promotional materials. “Visit any veterinarian nationwide, use our fast and easy claim process, and get your reimbursement in as little as two weeks.”
A link on Kroger's home page lets pet owners enroll online. Those who do will get a $10 refund.
